I thought I would show you some of my favourite commissions I’ve worked on so far this year. They have all been so varied and given me an insight into the customers lives; from their favourite holidays and events to colours and shapes that evoke joy. I thoroughly enjoy creating commissions and working one-on-one with people to create exactly what they want.

When I’m approached about a commission I first of all quote a price based on the size that we both agree would work in the space, unless you already have a size in mind. I then go through each stage of the process with the client. It starts with a chat about everything you want from the art, to the pencil sketch for composition, and then onto working out the colour palette. I finish this process with a photoshopped idea of what the final piece will look like for the green light to put paint to canvas. It really is a simple process that I hope many people will have confidence in trying.

If you want that special painting you’ve been thinking about to come to life, then just get in touch and we can go from there.
